projects
A lot is going on at KFH these days. We have projects to fulfill any appetite for service. Small projects; Medium Projects; Big Projects; Gigantic “Are you crazy?” Projects. From Putting Greens to Reading Nooks for little kids to curl up with a book. Have a look at what we’ve got going on. Whether you’re a Key Club, an entire division, or just 2 pals with a few hours to give, there’s a project that we could use your help with.
Atmosphere, cooling, and pretty gathering spots. Our atriums (atria) are often overlooked but provide such a beautiful backdrop for our guests (families).
There's a method to this madness. Yes it will provide great light for the Atrium Gardens, BUT it will also help keep rooms cool!
A triple purpose area extending from the rear lobby over the rear apron/landing space. This will add beauty, a soft gardening space, and help cool the rear dining area.
Our guest kitchens are in horrible condition. We should address them during every Big Beautification Day from this day forward.
Sprinkled throughout KFH, painted rocks add personality and have become an unanticipated souvenir for guests! This is a perfect project for Builders Clubs and Key Clubs.
Calling all Key Club creatives!!! KFH kids don't need more books, they need reading nooks! We have 2 spaces for you to flex your creative muscles.
The back of KFH has long been a point of contention. Safety regulations shutdown the playground, disease killed off trees, flooding, irrigation, $100k landscaping costs. The obvious solution is to turn this area into a putting green!
Our RV Spaces have been impacted by light pollution spilling over from the new UC Davis parking garage. Which, is actually a good thing.
The South Lobby will soon be an Arcade... Pac-Man, Centipede, Galaga, and Asteroids... oh, and Air Hockey, of course!
