Families we host
It has been a fascinating year for KFH when we think about the families we have been able to host. From Redding to Mexico, and many places far away. We spent time with Luis, who after months at KFH getting treatment at the Shriner’s Pediatric Burn Unit, spent a FULL DAY raking leaves out front as his way of saying thank you to us for our hospitality. We have spent over a year with a guest from Palestine, Ahmed, who was born without legs and came to Shriner’s for support. We were able to witness his early first steps on his brand-new legs here in this building. And we watched Jorge create a work of art all while he was visiting family in the hospital.
We are continuing to build community with our guests and kindly ask for your support to continue our great work. Our guests depend on us, and we depend on you, Making KFH a part of your giving ensures we can see Ahmed, Luis, and Jorge thrive while navigating their toughest days.
